City Attorney - Served as legal advisor and attorney for the City; provided legal advice and assistance to the Mayor and Board of Commissioners, department heads and other city employees; served as legal counsel during board meetings,supporting the legislative and administrative processes involving ordinances, contracts, legal research, legal opinions and litigation; and provided legal advice and assistance to the city's boards and commissions.

Human Services Division: Provided legal counsel to the Mississippi Department of Human Services for family and children services, adult protective services and personnel matters; represented the agency in administrative hearings and youth and chancery court proceedings as they relate to termination of parental rights and adult protective services.

State Government Division: Provided legal serves to assigned state boards and commissions, including providing general advice to boards during board meetings; representing/handling personnel matters; drafting contracts, rules and regulations and representing boards in administrative proceedings.

Opinions and Local Government Division: Wrote legal opinions to state and local officials, boards and their attorneys; served as Section 5 Attorney for the State of Mississippi by reviewing legislation which potentially impacted voting procedures or office holders in the state and drafting submissions and transmitting the same to the U.S. Department of Justice for pre-clearance pursuant to Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 as amended; and trained election officials on state and municipal election laws.

Project Manager - Developed and oversaw various projects undertaken by the Administrative Office of Courts that sought to improve the Mississippi Court System.
